Timo har över 15 års erfarenhet som hundförare och instruktör i träning av polispatrullhundar samt specialsökhundar. Timo har också arbetat som lärare vid Polisyrkeshögskolan / polishundsinrättningen.

Timo har tränat hundar för sport sedan 1989, mestadels Finska nationella grenar spår och sök, men också i skydd (IGP).

Timo är utbildad skyddsfigurant för polishundar.
